DescriptionThe College of Business at the University of New England invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the Full Professor ranking to lead the university's new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, launching in the Fall of 2025. The MBA is an online program with concentrations in supply chain management, healthcare administration, sport management and leadership, and general management. The successful candidate will work closely with the College of Professional Studies and serve as a full faculty member of the College of Business.
Additional leadership responsibilities may be part of the position, and teaching in other College of Business programs will also be required.
Teach in the College of Business, lead the MBA program, build online programs, and assume other leadership responsibilities within the College of Business and the College of Professional Studies. Provide excellence in teaching, quality research, industry involvement, curriculum development, academic recruiting, course and program assessment, and service to the colleges and university. The teaching load is equivalent to 6 credits per semester, for a 12‑month position.
QualificationsA terminal degree in business or a related field is required. Candidates should have industry experience and a combination of education and professional experience that provides commensurate qualifications. Experience in online teaching, online program development, and online marketing is required. A terminal degree in the area of teaching or a related field combined with industry experience is required at the time of appointment.
