We are always seeking to add to our School Transportation team:

  • Substitute Transportation Aides (no driving involved) - especially Thursday and Fridays
  • Long‑term and per diem (by the day) assignments available
  • Flexible days
  • 4–5 hours per day
  • Request a tour of the bus garage today
Performance Responsibilities
  • Ensure all students are secure in their seatbelts or wheelchairs.
  • Assist the bus driver in maintaining a clean bus.
  • Maintain good student conduct on the bus.
  • Ensure students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.
  • Other job‑related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.

Job Description

Certification/License: All positions - Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.

Education: GED or high school diploma.

Experience: No experience required, but experience working with young and special needs students is helpful.
