Substitute Transportation Aide (Job )- Position Type:

We are always seeking to add to our School Transportation team:
- Substitute Transportation Aides (no driving involved) - especially Thursday and Fridays
- Long‑term and per diem (by the day) assignments available
- Flexible days
- 4–5 hours per day
- Request a tour of the bus garage today
- Ensure all students are secure in their seatbelts or wheelchairs.
- Assist the bus driver in maintaining a clean bus.
- Maintain good student conduct on the bus.
- Ensure students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.
- Other job‑related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.
Job Description
Certification/License: All positions - Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.
Education: GED or high school diploma.
Experience: No experience required, but experience working with young and special needs students is helpful.
