- Communication
- Actively participates in regularly scheduled Leadership Team meetings.
- Ensures correspondences on behalf of the team (newsletters, parental notices, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintains communication between the team and other teachers regarding special activities and student concerns.
- Coordinates student/team/parent conferences.
- Coordinates regular team meetings, including published agendas and minutes.
- Team Activities
- Coordinates special events.
- Coordinates team recognition of students.
- Coordinates team, grade, and advisor activities.
- Coordinates team norms and protocols.
- Coordinates and monitors team goals focused on student achievement and developmental needs.
- Coordinates a team reflection process.
- Scheduling
- Provides input to the administration regarding building level and team level schedules.
- Assists in the coordination of the step‑up day.
- Assists in the coordination of standardized testing.
- Assists in the coordination of parent nights.
- Management
- Provides professional support to all team members as needed. Integrates professional development into team agendas as appropriate.
- Assists with new staff orientation.
- Other
- Performs such other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the principal or designee.
- Duties will include one, six‑hour day of summer work which may be split into two half‑days.
