Position: Special Education Resource Teacher- Otisfield / Hebron

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent qualified candidates for the position of resource room Special Education Teacher to be spit between Otisfield Community School and Hebron Station School. Job sharing will be considered – please indicate your interest within your application.

Candidates must hold a valid Maine certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s) (#282).

Building Principal/Director of Student Services

Work Schedule:

180 Day Contract

Salary: $46,012.50 – $81,329.34 (SY26/27) – note additional stipends for Special Education teachers*

In addition to the base salaries above, Special Education positions receive the following annual supplemental stipends:

  • Day Treatment Teachers – $4,500
  • Functional Life Skills Teachers – $4,400
  • Social Skills Teachers – $3,400
  • Resource Room Teachers – $2,000
  • Social Workers – $4,450
  • Applied Academics Teachers – $4,000

MSAD #17 offers a robust employee benefits package for full-time employees, including: health insurance with 80% of the premium paid by the employer (with up to 100% if both spouses work in the district); dental, vision, Group Life Insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts;
Maine Public Employee Pension, 403(b) retirement plan eligibility; 15 paid sick days per year; and tuition reimbursement.
