Job Summary:This is a part-time contract position. The contract will run from October 2025 through March 2026. The intern will be expected to work between 10 and 15 hours per week. This is subject to change based on program needs and intern capacity; these decisions will be made by Correlation One (C1) staff and communicated well in advance.
The Apex Marketing Intern(s) will create short-form, student-centered content and grassroots digital outreach strategies that increase awareness of and applications for the Apex America Initiative's student-focused programs - the "AI Launchpad:
Student Workshop Series" and the "High School AI Championship". The intern(s) will play a pivotal role in helping Correlation One reach 10,000 high school student applicants for the High School AI Championship, which will take place between March and April 2026.
The Apex America Initiative's High School AI Championship is America's first AI competition designed to identify and develop the nation's next generation of artificial intelligence leaders. Open to all high school students in the U.S. ages 14-18, this groundbreaking competition combines rigorous technical assessment with real-world problem solving, mentorship from industry leaders, and life-changing opportunities.
Leading up to the championship in March 2026, Correlation One will also host the AI Launchpad:
Student Workshop Series. This series will provide high school students in the U.S. with free, virtual workshops designed to introduce them to foundational AI concepts, tools, and use-cases, as well as to coach them on specific AI tools and strategies for succeeding in our championship. This series will be central to delivering value to participants and ensuring the program's credibility as a top AI/STEM learning experience for high school students.
We are currently looking to hire up to two (2) Apex Marketing Interns to help us advertise the Apex America Initiative's student-focused programs above and to ultimately support Correlation One with reaching our goal of 10,000 high school student applicants for the High School AI Championship.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, produce, and publish short videos each week on various social media platforms (e.g. Tik Tok, Reels, You Tube Shorts) that explain the Apex America Initiative and its student programs, that encourage students to apply for the programs, and that help build positive Correlation One and Apex brand recognition amongst high school students.
- Create other social assets for use in Apex marketing (e.g. memes, written content for social posts, etc.) and develop/implement outreach timeline and strategy.
- Track, report and help the Apex marketing team capitalize on student trends.
- Explore and propose opportunities for marketing micro-collabs [e.g. duet/stitch prompts, user generated content (UGC) swaps with STEM creators, etc.].
- Track performance (e.g. Impressions → Clicks → Application Starts → Completed Applications) and make marketing recommendations based on accumulated data.
