Key Responsibilities
  • Students secure in seatbelts/wheelchairs
  • Aides help the bus driver maintain a clean bus for everyone
  • Maintaining good student conduct on the bus
  • Assure that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion
  • Other job‑related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements
  • GED or high school diploma
  • No experience required; experience working with young and special needs students helpful
  • Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education
Benefits

Long‑term and per diem assignments available, flexible days, 4‑5 hours per day, no driving involved, with a focus on Thursday and Friday assignments.
