Biddeford Schools is seeking for their summer program: Multilingual Learners Summer Academy Teachers and Educational Technicians Dates:
June 29-July 23, 2026 (Mon‑Thurs, 8‑12)

The Summer Multilingual Learner program serves students K‑12 who need extra English Language support over the summer. This program focuses on both academics and recreation in order to provide an opportunity for students to practice their oral and written language, while also accessing resources in their community.
Qualifications
:
Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification. ESL experience preferred.
Reports to
: ML Summer Program Director;
Leadership Office Faculty.
- Supports learning opportunities in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics and ensures they align with programming and rising grade standards.
- Helps develop lesson plans and instructional materials for customized, small, and large‑group instruction.
- Communicates with teachers, community outreach, building leaders, and other staff to enhance the program and outcomes.
- Supports an effective learning environment through a variety of learning tools, games, and interactive lessons.
- Advances the vision, mission, and school improvement efforts of the district.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned by the ML Summer Academy Coordinator or Summer Programming Director.
