Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Saco, ME. This full‑time, full school year position involves working with a diverse K-12th grade caseload, providing critical support to students with various needs. As an OT in this role, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized plans to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate students' needs to develop individualized therapy plans.
- Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions to enhance students educational performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic goals into the school environment.
- Provide guidance and support for students with fine motor, sensory processing, and other functional challenges.
- Document progress and maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student development.
- Adapt and modify classroom environments and activities to facilitate student participation and learning.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maine.
- Strong munication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
