About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to train the next generation of advanced AI models — and we need mechanical engineers who know their stuff. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems, from fluid dynamics to structural mechanics.

This is a unique opportunity to step beyond traditional engineering roles and make a lasting impact on AI systems used globally — all on a flexible, remote schedule that works around your life.

What You'll Do
  • Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced mechanical engineering scenarios across domains like FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, fluid dynamics, and material science to stress-test AI reasoning
  • Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
  • Audit AI Outputs — Review AI-generated CAD logic, thermodynamic proofs, and material specifications for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (ASME, ISO, etc.)
  • Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify logical flaws such as incorrect force distributions, energy conservation violations, or faulty assumptions, then provide structured feedback to improve AI "thinking"
Who You Are
  • Advanced Degree — Master's (pursuing or completed) or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Strong Domain Knowledge — Deep understanding in one or more core areas: solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing processes
  • Technical Communicator — Able to explain complex physical phenomena and mathematical reasoning clearly and concisely in writing
  • Detail-Oriented — Precise and methodical when reviewing mathematical derivations, unit analysis, and physical system constraints
  • No AI experience required — We'll get you up to speed
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or technical writing
  • Proficiency with engineering tools like Solid Works, MATLAB, or ANSYS
  • Familiarity with AI model evaluation or prompt engineering
Why Join Us
