This senior leadership role is for a proven CRE professional who thrives at the intersection of relationship management, credit excellence, and people leadership.

Why This Role Matters

  • Build and deepen relationships with commercial real estate investors, developers, operators, and professional sponsors, identifying opportunities for full‑relationship expansion.
  • Serve as a visible leader in the market, strengthening the Bank’s presence through industry, business, and community engagement.
Deliver Credit Excellence
  • Provide senior‑level oversight of complex CRE transactions, including construction, development, and permanent financing.
  • Ensure strong adherence to credit standards, lending policies, and regulatory requirements, balancing growth with disciplined risk management.
  • Maintain accountability for portfolio quality, proactively identifying emerging risks and partnering with Credit and Special Assets teams as needed.
Elevate The Client Experience
  • Oversee active portfolio management practices, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, site visits, and early issue identification.
  • Champion a consistent, high‑quality client experience through proactive communication and coordinated delivery of banking solutions.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management, Retail, and Investment Management partners to deliver holistic financial solutions.
Build and Inspire High‑Performing Teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Loan Officers and/or Commercial Market Managers, strengthening CRE expertise, sales effectiveness, and credit acumen.
  • Drive hiring, performance management, succession planning, and professional development in alignment with leadership expectations and values.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
What You Bring Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in Commercial Real Estate lending, commercial banking, or related financial services.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strong CRE underwriting, credit analysis, and portfolio management expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degree or specialized banking/real estate education a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of construction and income‑producing commercial real‑estate markets.
Leadership Strengths
  • Strategic, relationship‑driven business builder with a disciplined approach to risk.
  • Credible, confident leader who develops talent and influences across functions.
  • Clear, compelling communicator with the ability to engage clients, teams, and senior leadership.
  • Results‑oriented, accountable, and energized by complex, high‑impact work.
