Summary:

Maine Health Department of Ear, Nose and Throat and Audiology is hiring a full-time Audiologist for their newly expanded Biddeford location. Our new clinic is equipped with the latest diagnostic and hearing aid equipment. The clinic staffs multiple audiology and otolaryngology providers, as well as an engaged support staff focused on a quality patient experience - join this collaborative group providing the highest level of care in New England.

Job includes a comprehensive benefits package and generous support for continuing education. The Audiologist role provides clinical audiology services to patients who have hearing, balance and related ear problems. Works closely with providers to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment and implements habitation/rehabilitation services for patients of all ages. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education:

    Master's Degree in Audiology required. Au.D preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current State of Maine license in Audiology and Hearing Aid Fitting required. Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) may be required. American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) Certification preferred.
  • Experience:

    Clinical experience that includes clients of all ages and hearing aid dispensing/evaluation required.
