Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and/or adults as appropriate to program needs, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized tests that assess cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and executive functioning.
- Integrate clinical interviews, test results, and medical records into diagnostic formulations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute neuropsychological expertise to person-centered care and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Conduct feedback sessions with clients and caregivers to review results and recommendations, fostering effective planning for functional, academic, vocational, and behavioral needs.
To excel as a Neuropsychologist at Oceanside Community Services LLP, candidates must possess a PhD or PsyD in neuropsychology or clinical psychology and be licensed or license-eligible in Maine. Strong written and communication skills are essential for preparing clear evaluation reports and conducting feedback sessions with clients and caregivers. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and advanced knowledge of neuropsychological assessment tools and diagnostic criteria are vital for effective evaluation and documentation.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to synthesize complex clinical information into actionable recommendations and exhibit strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
