We're looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Biddeford, ME. The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.

Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. They should be able to easily lift 20 pounds, and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds y must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• NBRC, RRT certifications; 2 years of experience required.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
