Position Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Biddeford, Maine.

• Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Be able to easily lift 20 pounds.
• Move or lift patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.
• Have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care.
• BLS, ACLS.
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• NBRC, RRT, PALS, NRP (2 Years).

Total Med Allied Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
