The Cardiac Medical/Surgical Unit at Maine Medical Center - Biddeford is a 40 Bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) unit providing step-down level care for patients no longer needing full ICU level care offering a concentration of post-cardiac procedure and cardiac patients.

eligible for benefits - Paycommensuratewith that of a travel assignment
- Full time (36 hoursper week)
Incumbents are eligible to apply for regular employment with a Maine Health Entity following completion of assignment if position matching skill setsisavailable.
To be eligible for consideration- Must be separated from a Maine Health facility forgreaterthan 12 months.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
The Registered Nurse II - Acute Care - MMC BID SAN roleis responsible forthe management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurserequired. Current BLS certificationrequiredor must obtain within
30 daysof start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACURN'srequire ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date orin accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICURN'srequire NRP Certification within one year ofstartdate orin accordance with Department guidelines. Positions that are fully remote will not require BLS. - Experience:One year of RN experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse - Acute Care role.

Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RNassisting
Laboring Womenrequired.
