Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Biddeford, ME

Role Overview

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with strong clinical experience across high‑acuity and fast‑paced hospital environments. The ideal candidate is confident managing both adult and pediatric patients and is comfortable functioning as part of multidisciplinary critical‑care teams.

Core Clinical Experience Required

• Adult ICU and Emergency Department experience, including care of pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation.
• Level I Nursery experience, including participation in high‑risk C‑sections and active involvement on the neonatal resuscitation team.
• Medical–Surgical floor coverage and routine respiratory care responsibilities.

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Dräger V500 and Hamilton T1 ventilators.
• Skilled in the use of Neo Puff for neonatal respiratory support.
• Comfortable documenting in the EPIC electronic health record system.

Certifications

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Assignment Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Specialty Focus: Adult critical care; NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred
