Our Story

Oceanside Community Services, LLP offers specialized services for treatment of children, adolescents and adults with varying medical, behavioral, emotional and developmental challenges. We are located in Southern Maine and are a for-profit behavioral health organization. The Clinic’s therapeutic services offer a wide variety of therapies to the community which include individual, family and group work. We offer an integrated approach by collaborating with other external providers who offer other services such as in-home support and case management.

Neuropsychological services provide comprehensive, diagnostic evaluations for individuals across the lifespan. At Oceanside Community Services, LLP, we promote the well-being of the individuals and families we serve by supporting, integrating and collaborating with children and families. We do so by removing barriers to services and offering quality care through evidence-based practice, risk management and collaborative efforts. DAILY EXPECTATIONS IN THIS ROL E

As a Clinical Psychologist at Oceanside Community Services LLP, you will be conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and/or adults as appropriate to program needs. Your role will involve administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized neuropsychological tests and psychological tests that assess cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and personality functioning. By integrating clinical interviews, test results, and medical records into diagnostic formulations, you will provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations.

Collaborating within our multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute your neuropsychological expertise to person-centered care and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports. Additionally, you will conduct feedback sessions with clients and caregivers to review results and recommendations, fostering effective planning for their functional, academic, vocational, and behavioral needs.

What matters most

To excel as a Clinical Psychologist at Oceanside Community Services LLP, candidates must possess a PhD or PsyD in neuropsychology or clinical psychology and be licensed or license-eligible in Maine. Strong written and communication skills are essential for preparing clear evaluation reports and conducting feedback sessions with clients and caregivers. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and advanced knowledge of neuropsychological and psychological assessment tools and diagnostic criteria are vital for effective evaluation and documentation.

Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to synthesize complex clinical information into actionable recommendations and exhibit strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
