About This RoleAs an Ed Tech with Tiny Triumphs, you'll work side-by-side with our Speech-Language Pathologists, AAC specialists, and Occupational Therapists to support kids during therapy sessions, in classrooms, and out in the community. You'll be a friendly, encouraging presence helping students stay engaged, practice their goals, and feel celebrated every step of the way.
What You'll Do- Support students 1:1 and in small groups during speech, AAC, and OT sessions
- Help model AAC devices and communication strategies (we'll train you!)
- Assist with fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation activities alongside our OTs
- Help prep fun, engaging therapy materials and activities
- Reinforce communication and OT goals throughout the school day
- Take simple notes/data so therapists can track progress
- Be a warm, encouraging, patient adult in a child's corner
- Help with transitions, behavior support, and keeping sessions fun
- High school diploma or equivalent (Ed Tech I, II, or III authorization a plus, but we'll help you get it!)
- Experience working with kids — schools, camps, childcare, coaching, babysitting all count
- Patience, warmth, and a sense of humor
- Comfort with tech (iPads, AAC apps) — or willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to schools in Southern Maine
- Open to working with kids who communicate in lots of different ways
- Background check clearance (we'll walk you through it)
- $22/hour starting pay
