Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.

Summary: The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings.

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.

  Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
