ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Empty all laundry receptacles
- Properly sort all linen for laundering
- Pre-spot and pre-soak difficult stains before washing
- Load and unload washers and dryers
- Fold linen, individually or with partner based on size
- Deliver and stack clean linen in supply areas
- Report any problems immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager
- Report to manager when chemicals/items needed for job need to be reordered
- Store chemicals neatly and properly
- Communicate with other departments for proper distribution of laundry
- Promotes outstanding customer relations
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior laundry experience a plus. Must be able to work alone and/or as a team
- Must have good communication and organization skills. Must be detail oriented
- Required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Frequently walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying and climbing.
