Debtfindr is reimagining how consumers and businesses resolve debt. Our AI-powered platform helps individuals uncover and negotiate hidden debts—privately, securely, and on their terms—while enabling collection agencies and accounts receivable departments to boost recovery rates through verified, inbound resolution requests.

With an MVP live, early B2B traction, and insights from over 300 consumer interviews, we’re on the path to scale. Our mission is clear: bring transparency, control, and education to the debt resolution process in a $200B+ industry plagued by inefficiency and opacity.

Your Role

As CTO and founding team member, you’ll lead our technical roadmap and infrastructure strategy as we scale from MVP to market leader.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical vision, architecture, and roadmap
• Build and manage the engineering team (ICs and external developers)
• Lead development of our AI debt negotiator, secure databases, and user-facing features
• Ensure best practices in security, compliance, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with design, product, and operations to deliver a world-class experience
• Participate in fundraising efforts, investor calls, and technical due diligence

Ideal Candidate

• Experience launching and scaling full-stack products (React, Node, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and data privacy protocols
• Experience in fintech, healthtech, or other regulated environments is a plus
• Comfortable in startup environments—fast-paced, resource-constrained, impact-focused
• Passionate about fintech, equity, and helping consumers regain financial control
• Willing to work equity-only until pre-seed or seed funding is closed
