Manufacturing Operator; 2nd shift

Your role:

FMI is looking for a safety and goal orientated team player to help support our manufacturing team. Our Hill Street location is hiring a Manufacturing Operator which will operate a variety of machinery that we will provide on the job training on. The schedule is Monday-Friday; 3:30pm-11:30pm, and includes a 10% shift differential!

• Needle making and sewing
• Automated weaving on looms
• Performs Multi-D Weaving tasks such as Z finishing, core insertion
• Support pultruded carbon fiber rod drawing
• Support Carbon fiber stretch breaking process
• Inspection of the loom, parts, materials and quality inspection of completed work
• Recording of process data of manufacturing records for processes, parts and materials
• Load and unload equipment with proper tools and technique
• Ensure safety and housekeeping policies/procedures are followed
• Adheres to the Quality System
• Supports Continuous Improvement Program

• Minimum GED or High School Diploma
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Able to read, write and understand job specifications
• Basic math aptitude
