Production Technician 1st Shift

Position

Full‑time Production Technician – Day Shift (5:00 am – 3:00 pm) at Molnlycke, Wiscasset, ME.

• Entry‑level position with comprehensive on‑the‑job paid training.
• Starting pay rate of $21.75 an hour.
• $2.00 shift differential for hours between 5:30 pm and 5:30 am.

• Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:00 pm.
• Workdays and hours may vary; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

• Perform various production processing duties in the manufacturing of SWC products.
• Manufacture fluidized medium and Fluidized Positioners from raw material to finished good.
• Follow good manufacturing processes in compliance with local and global regulations.

• Pre‑employment physical, background check and at least 2 professional references required.
• Proven success in a team‑based environment and ability to meet performance measures with minimal supervision.
• Ability to make well‑reasoned decisions independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Ability to work overtime to ensure production goals are met.
• Over 75% of workdays involve walking or standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform regular handling, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping tasks.
• Close vision and color vision are required.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Experience in production, manufacturing or related environment preferred but not required.
