Job Overview

Weaving & Fiber Manufacturing Technicians – Career Transition Friendly Pay: $20-22 per hour.

Schedule:

1st & 2nd Shift openings available. Status:
Direct, permanent openings. This role is part of an industry‑leading, high‑tech manufacturing operation that produces advanced textile and composite materials used in aerospace, defense, and extreme‑environment applications.

About the Work

Depending on your strengths and training path, this role may involve a mix of:

  • Operating and supporting specialized weaving and fiber‑processing equipment
  • Performing detailed hand‑weaving using carbon and technical fibers (3‑ and 4‑directional weaves)
  • Making and preparing needles, spools, and related tooling
  • Inspecting materials and finished work to exact specifications
  • Recording process and quality data accurately
  • Assisting with equipment setup, material handling, and changeovers
  • Following strict safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Basic math and reading comprehension (assessed during the interview process)
  • Willingness to follow a structured training and qualification path
