CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce high-precision components by setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment. This role requires the ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to manufacture quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with complex machine setups, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Review job packets, blueprints, tooling requirements, and work instructions before beginning production.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices based on material type and machining requirements.
• Record production data and completed operations accurately within the company's ERP system.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational machining training preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
