Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 2:30pm

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure for the state of Maine
• Prior experience as a School RN or in pediatric nursing preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with students, staff, and caregivers
• Well-versed in managing acute, chronic, and emergent health concerns
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct medical care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Coordinate and manage care for students with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, allergies)
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records according to school policies
• Promote health education and preventive care throughout the school community
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop health plans and accommodations
• Ensure compliance with immunization and health screening requirements
