Maine Health is looking for a Per diem, day shift, Wound Ostomy - Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team! Our ideal nurse would have WOCN board certification as well as a BSN (however, all applicants with experience will be considered). This position would cover either the Biddeford or Sanford wound locations with a clinical schedule of weekdays.

Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy Care - Outpatient role serves as a wound, ostomy and continence care provider. This role provides education and consultation to meet the complex needs of wound, ostomy and continence patients and their families.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

* Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.

* License/

Certifications:

Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. WOCN Board Certification preferred.

* Experience:

Three years of recent acute care clinical nursing experience preferred.
