Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Biddeford, ME

Schedule/

Hours:
  • Flexible 10- or 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (1:4 weekends)
  • One overnight trauma call, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, scheduled by specialty
Elevate your expertise by collaborating with leading orthopedic surgeons in a high-volume setting, mastering multi-vendor surgical systems, and refining your trauma care adaptability. You'll join a dedicated surgical team in a 26-bed, Level 1 trauma environment, utilizing the latest technology-including the Mako robotic system and Hana table-while working to enhance patient outcomes and your professional confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as first scrub for complex orthopedic total joint revisions using Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, and Zimmer systems
  • Operate the Mako robotic system and position on the Hana table with proficiency
  • Independently assist on polytrauma orthopedic cases
  • Promote high-efficiency OR practices, maintaining 30-minute turnovers and a 90% first case on-time start rate
  • Collaborate across five high-volume orthopedic ORs
Desired

Qualifications:
  • Current RN license, in good standing
  • Minimum two years of OR experience, with strong orthopedic surgery and trauma background
  • Familiarity with multiple vendor systems and advanced orthopedic instrumentation
  • Experience with robotic-assisted surgery (Mako) and Hana tables
  • CNOR certification preferred
