Part‑Time, Day Shift | 2, 12‑hour shifts | 6:45 A – 7:15 P
Every third weekend

Unit:
Med Surg 3 (MS3) – a fast‑paced 56‑bed Adult Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, Maine. The team provides care to adult complex patient populations across multiple specialties.

Maine Health offers sign‑on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):
0‑0.99 years of experience eligible for up to $2,500 (full time)
1+ year of experience eligible for up to $4,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates hired into a Full or Part‑time CNA position. Bonus prorated for part‑time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees and former members within 6 months of separation are ineligible.

The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

• Assist in nursing care administration as directed by RN.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

  Relevant experience preferred.
