Maine Health Maine Medical Center Biddeford Surgical Care is seeking a Physician Associate/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their growing care team of 4 General Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Providers in a rewarding, collaborative team environment. This is a full-time hybrid (35 hrs inpatient/5 hrs outpatient) position. Patient care includes pre- and post‑operative care, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests, and first‑assisting in the operating room.

The position also requires on‑call rotation.

• Successful completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (RNFA certification required) or Physician Associate program; experience in General Surgery is desired.
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
