This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to RN’s with Greater than 1 year of Experience

The Nursing Float Pool is the department for Registered Nurses that are seeking a dynamic position withexposureto a broad range of patient acuity levels.

The Float Poolofferstheuniqueopportunity to developexpertisein multiple settings and refine core skill sets. Nurses in this department are adaptable to different units, including specialties, whichsupportflexibility, time-management skills, and critical thinking.

• Ability to float between multiple Medical-Surgical Units,Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department
• 12-hour shifts (7-7);
  
  Self-Scheduling
• Every third or every other weekend rotation options

The Registered Nurse II - Acute Care – MMC BID SAN roleis responsible forthe management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurserequired. Current BLS certificationrequiredor mustobtainwithin
  30 daysof start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACURN’srequire ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date orin accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICURN’srequire NRP Certification within one year ofstartdate orin accordance with Department guidelines. Positions that are fully remote will not require BLS.
• Experience:
  
  One year of RN experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse – Acute Care role.
• Additional Skills/Requirements
  
  Required:
  
  Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RNassisting
  
  Laboring Womenrequired.

• The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.
• Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
