Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Location:
Biddeford, ME
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Job Description:
This position requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have cardiac and telemetry experience, as well as a strong background in acute inpatient care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to manage patient care plans.
- Perform nursing assessments and document patient information accurately.
- Administer medications and interventions as per medical protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
- Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Telemetry certification is required.
