This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Nights.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry to join our Float Pool. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-quality patient care in various settings as needed. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly to different environments and patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med-Surg and Telemetry departments.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (EPIC).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a float capacity preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is a plus.
