Quality Technician

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Technician role in Biddeford, ME. • Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
• Conduct testing and measurement of materials and components using precision tools and testing equipment.
• Document and maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
• Identify non-conforming materials and assist with containment, investigation, and corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Monitor production processes to verify adherence to established quality procedures and standards.
• Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment as required.
• Communicate quality concerns effectively with production, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection instruments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with quality systems and standards (ISO or similar) is a plus.
