Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Inspector role in Biddeford, ME. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain thorough quality records and reports.
  • Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues, non-conformances, and production defects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are understood and consistently met.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to established quality procedures and specifications.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes to prevent recurring defects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality-related training is preferred.
  • Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO or similar standards) is a plus.
