Concrete Quality Manager

Overview

Nex Gen is looking to add a Concrete Quality Manager to join their team! This role is remote and up to 50% travel.

• The Quality Manageris required to have bachelor’s or technical/associate degree in a related field; and tenyearsrelated experience; or the equivalent total of both experience and education totaling fourteen years.

• The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills.

• Must be physically present in one of our office locations (Lexington, KY; Charlotte, NC; Birmingham, AL).

• The selected candidate will be required to travel up to 100% of the time.

What we expect…(Essential Functions)

• Through coordination with the Project Manager/Site Manager, directs activities and coordinates the day-to-day quality control system and procedures for the company, from project start up to completion.

• Attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS Program and review Lessons Learned in the presence of subcontractors and manufacturers.

• Manage daily activities of the quality control program.

• Trainteam members in the use of the quality control program and support question resolution pertaining to the program use.

• Perform administrative set up of projects within the quality program database, assist in the support and maintenance of database program and assist in the implementation and audits the effectiveness of the quality program.

• Ensure the quality program providesa fairand effective monitoring of the overall quality of the organization on a regular and timely basis.

• Accumulate data from the quality control program for company utilization (for marketing, training, and areas of improvement/best practices).

• Conductjobsiteinspections/audits to ensure that quality controls are in place and report findings to the QMS System Manager.

• Work with Project Managers, Site Managers and Design Managers to ensure the quality performance and installation of materials.

• Work with the Service Team Manager for incorporating checklist items into QMS System based on warranty callback items.

• May be required to temporarily monitor projects while others are away from the job and help to provide coverage on jobsites from time to time.

• Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance with industry and company standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
