Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Biddeford, ME 04005

Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion, you may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

  • Starting hourly pay rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
  • Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and other services.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • Part‑time position with a variable schedule.
  • Average weekly hours: 13–15 hours.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement:
    Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    Provide additional hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets:
    Participate in installations and related tasks (building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, resetting card sections). Typically notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support:
    Collaborate with other field merchandisers to support team members in their territories.
Physical Requirements This job is physically demanding and requires a high level of energy and urgency. Work occurs on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Abilities to read, write, and understand English.
  • Capable of consistently pulling, lifting, and carrying products up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to operate a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
