BriefJob Duties
- To help maintain the physical school plant in its entirety, in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times. This includes maintaining safe conditions and adherences to building codes with a special focus on carpentry issues and projects.
- Examine district-owned facilities on a regular basis for purposes of preventive maintenance/safety issues.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, climb ladders, do snow removal, and be capable of doing various physical job functions.
- May be required to fill in for custodial personnel as necessary.
- Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education
- Valid State of Maine Driver’s License, Class B preferred but not required.
- 7-10 years of successful full-time general trade experience (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, painting, etc.) preferred.
