Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

We are currently seeking a Carpenter to join our team at Katahdin Homes. Our company builds in both commercial and residential spaces, with a main focus on residential. The service area is Portland and the Southern Maine region.

• Pay rate is up to $30.00/hr based upon experience

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

We're seeking a talented, experienced carpenter with tile experience preferred to join our team of builders. Our ideal candidates will have a strong background in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, trim work, and custom woodworking.

• Reading and interpreting floor plans
• Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape
• Installing and finishing cabinetry and millwork
• Building and installing stairs, railings, and other finishing work
• Working together with our team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard of quality

• Experience in carpentry
• A deep understanding of different types of materials and their properties
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing flawless work
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• The ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient in hand / power tools
