Laundry Operative

Employment Type: 6-month contract with the hope of extension
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00–17:00, 5 days per week including at least one weekend day
Location: Based at our Regional Operations Facility
Salary: £12.60 per hour

Our Managed Services teams play a vital role in delivering an outstanding guest and homeowner experience. The laundry function makes sure every departure has the right linen, packed, finished to a high standard, and ready to go, helping holidays feel effortless.

We are now looking for a Laundry Operative to support the smooth day-to-day running of our laundry operation and keep things moving throughout busy changeovers.

• Preparing linen bags for changeover days, including milk
• Keeping the laundry environment clean, organised and well-maintained (including machines)
• Maintaining linen quality and escalating any discrepancies to the Operations Manager
• Monitoring and recording additional items (e.g. mattress protectors) and ensuring these are labelled and returned to the correct property
• Tracking stock levels and informing the Housekeeping Manager when replenishment is needed
• Checking detergent levels, switching bottles as required and flagging ordering needs to the Operations Manager
• Recording all linen entering and leaving the laundry
