What We're Looking For:- A practical multi-skilled background with experience in general repairs, minor carpentry, basic plumbing and making good
- Confidence carrying out minor painting, decorating, patch repairs and finishing works when required
- Experience working in high-profile or client-facing environments
- Good knowledge of building fabric systems and common maintenance issues
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements, including working at height and risk assessments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in completing work to a high standard
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage workload effectively
- Basic IT skills and confidence using job management systems or PDA devices

We're seeking an experienced Fabric Technician to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you'll deliver planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across a professional commercial environment, completing a varied range of repairs and minor works to keep the site safe, presentable and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete minor carpentry, basic plumbing, patch repairs, making good and general building repairs
- Repair and maintain doors, locks, handles, hinges, fixtures, fittings and furniture
- Replace ceiling tiles, floor coverings, sealants and other building fabric items as required
- Carry out minor painting, decorating and touch-up works where needed
- Complete routine inspections, identify defects and take appropriate corrective action
- Support small works, office moves
