We take pride in providing the highest quality products on the market, handcrafting every fireplace in our Big Lake, MN facility, where our employees are the backbone of the company. As a custom fireplace welder, you are an integral part of the production team, and responsible for building world class custom fireplace systems. Our fireplaces are built using heavy steel: 14 gauge to 3 (1/4") gauge with all major seams being double welded, inside and out.

• Wire feed welding (MIG) is primary welding technique required
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
• Layout, position, align, and secure parts and sub-assemblies prior to final weld assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, rulers, and tape measures
• Ability to properly decipher blueprints
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be physically able to stand for 8 - 10 hours/day
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of 2 years industry experience in welding and manufacturing is required
• Stainless steel + TIG welding is not required for this position, but would add value
• Must have strong technical skills including knowledge of steel, fabricating, welding, painting and finishing
• Ability to read and accurately assess blueprints and shop drawings is critical
• A high degree of reliability, accountability, commitment, and teamwork are integral for success in this role
• Must maintain a professional attitude and work well independently, as well as on a team
• Desire to grow with an expanding company
• Local to Minnesota residence within a 100 mile radius of Big Lake, MN.

From $23.00 per hour depending on experience
