Join a high-performing manufacturing team that develops precision-machined components for critical medical device applications. As an Engineering Technician, you'll play a key role in programming, optimizing, and supporting advanced CNC manufacturing processes that deliver exceptional quality, repeatability, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
+ Develop and optimize CNC programs for precision-machined components using NX, ESPRIT, or similar CAM software.
+ Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and 3D CAD models to create efficient machining strategies.
+ Support CNC milling or CNC Swiss machining operations from development through production.
+ Create and improve manufacturing processes that deliver high quality, repeatable, and cost-effective results.
+ Select tooling, work holding, and fixturing solutions to maximize machine performance and part quality.
+ Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
+ Create clear work instructions, setup documentation, and process standards.
+ Conduct process validation activities and engineering tests to verify manufacturing capability.
+ Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, including cycle time reduction, tooling optimization, and cost-saving initiatives.
+ Support new product introductions and the transition of new parts into production.
+ Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Bills of Operations (BOOs) within ERP systems through established change control processes.
+ Assist with quoting, process planning, and tooling cost analysis.
+ Support automation and advanced manufacturing initiatives across the facility.
Required Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in CNC programming, manufacturing engineering, machining, or a related technical role.
+ Hands-on experience supporting CNC milling and/or CNC Swiss machining operations.
+ Proficiency with CAM software such as NX, ESPRIT, Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar platforms.
+ Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, machine setup, and process optimization.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
+ Working knowledge of G-code programming and troubleshooting.
+ Experience selecting tooling and fixturing for complex machined components.
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to create process documentation, setup instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+
Experience with NX for CNC milling or ESPRIT for Swiss machining.
+ Experience programming multi-axis CNC equipment.
+ Precision manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering change control processes.
+ Experience supporting automation initiatives or advanced manufacturing technologies.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Experience conducting process capability studies and validation activities.
+ Understanding of machining economics, quoting, and cost reduction efforts.
+ Lean or Six Sigma certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $92000.00/yr.
