Trails Grill & Sports Bar is looking for a talented Line Cook (Part Time to Full Time) to join our family‑run business in Big Lake, Minnesota. With over 20 years in business, we offer a welcoming work environment and an employee meal program to keep you fueled throughout your shift.
DailyResponsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper plate presentation for all dishes
- Utilize various cooking techniques such as pasta, salads, scratch cooking, steaks, seafood, sautéing, and more
- Maintain food quality and portion control throughout the cooking process
- Create soups, sauces, daily specials and other culinary delights
- Experience with a wide variety of menu dishes and food preparation
- Strong knife skills and experience with meat slicers
- Knowledge of sauce making and soup making
- Passion for maintaining high food quality standards
- Experience with dietary restrictions and special diets
- Knowledge of kitchen procedures and inventory control
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Safe Serv Certification
- Hourly $18 - $23
