Sales Specialist

Sales representatives develop and maintain accounts for the organizations through prospecting, estimating, selling, product selection, project management, and customer service.

Functions

• Serves customers by selling products and services and meeting customer needs.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure they receive exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.
• Provide in-depth product knowledge.
• Analyzes and estimates projects using plans and related addenda, determining profitability, based on use of materials and use of corporate resources.
• Communicates material and resource needs to internal customers (our employees).
• Maintains profit margins adequate for corporate profitability.
• Identifies and contacts potential new customers.
• Manages projects through excellent written and verbal communication.
• Orders special order items and review acknowledgements for proper selections to eliminate errors and customer delays.
• Helps collect accounts receivable when required.
• Predicts future market trends and develops new sales ideas.
• Interprets accounts and reports to management.
• Maintains annual sales budgets by retaining existing and new customers.
• May attend trade shows and conferences.
