Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with the contracting and production of campus events such as concerts, comedians, speakers, etc. Review and process financial transactions as stipulated in contracts and engagement agreements. May be required to attend and work occasional evening campus event.
Serve as primary point of contact for the Student Activity Fund (SAF); schedule, coordinate, and attend all Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC) meetings; train, mentor and advise Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) on SAFAC processes and procedures in accordance with the Rules of Appropriation and Allocation; assist with the recruitment, selection, and training of student voting members of SAFAC; coordinate the booking and contracting of approved talent;
and process all financial transactions related to SAF-funded travel, programs, and events.
Administer the scheduling and reservation process for the Robinson and South Quad , reviewing requests from internal and external organizations and ensuring compliance with university policies, risk management requirements, and operational guidelines.
Create, market, and execute regularly occurring small-scale daytime programs and activities in and around the David L. Eisler Center to enhance the student experience and encourage campus involvement.
Serve as office manager for the Center for Student Involvement, coordinating administrative functions, supervising front-office operations, and fostering a welcoming, professional, and student-centered environment.
Answer inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources and provide explanations and interpretations of policies and procedures.
Monitor activities on event days and provide assistance to ensure proper functioning.
Assist with and approve event registrations for RSOs and campus departments.
Review and screen all campus flyer postings
Provide backup support to the David L. Eisler Center Reservation Specialist.
Perform all duties and responsibilities of positions included in Grades 1 through 4 of the CTA contract.
Train, schedule, supervise, and maintain payroll for departmental non-bargaining-unit clerical and student employees.
May be called on to provide support to a variety of Student Life departments during the Summer semester.
Carries out these responsibilities in accordance with University policies and applicable laws.
Maintain the confidentiality of designated information.
Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty, and staff to thrive authentically.
Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives.
Perform any other duties assigned within the position classification area. Marginal Duties/Responsibilities:
