Summary of Position: Assistants work within the Dental Hygiene sterilization area.
Position Requirements: Prefer someone that is going into dental hygiene field.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Autoclaves for proper sterilization of dental instruments
- Stocking supplies
- Assisting students in the clinic areas with proper sterile techniques and all supplies needed before, during and after patient treatment
- Keeping all clinical areas clean.
- Knowledge of OSHA
- Filing of MSDS Sheets
- Understanding of blood borne pathogens
