Summary of PositionDo you enjoy public speaking and answering questions? If so, becoming a group visit tour guide allows you to do just that, with a flexible schedule. Group Visit tour guides will give walking tours of campus, escort groups to and from various campus locations, and share their love of Ferris to prospective students that are coming to visit in a large group from schools or organizations.
Position Requirements- Possess good public speaking skills
- Have strong knowledge of the University and be able to answer a variety of questions
- Must be comfortable with working outdoors
- Need at least 2 semesters of education at Ferris
- Offer presentations or campus tours
- Escort students and chaperones to various locations across campus
- Be able to walk a mile while talking
