Williams Auditorium is seeking a dependable, motivated student worker to join our event operations team. This position provides hands-on experience in live events, concerts, theater, lectures, conferences, performances, and other programs held at Williams Auditorium. This is a great opportunity for students interested in theater, music, event planning, production, communications, hospitality, entertainment, or live events, but no previous technical experience is required.
Position Requirements- Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts

- Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with event setup and teardown
- Interest or experience in theater, music, events, production, or entertainment
- Previous experience with stage equipment, lighting, audio, or video
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Setting up and tearing down events
- Moving and arranging tables, chairs, staging, and other equipment
- Assisting with stage and backstage preparations
- Helping with basic lighting, audio, and video equipment
- Assisting with microphones and presentation equipment
- Supporting concerts, theater productions, lectures, conferences, ceremonies, and special events
- Assisting performers, speakers, presenters, and event clients
- Helping with audience seating and event logistics
- Preparing dressing rooms, backstage areas, and event spaces
- Operating or assisting with basic venue equipment after appropriate training
- Loading and unloading event equipment and materials
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe event spaces
- Assisting with event transitions and room changes
- Providing general event support before, during, and after events
- Following venue safety procedures and event-specific instructions
- Performing other duties related to auditorium and event operations as assigned
- Scenic Construction and/ or painting assistance for university productions
